OVERVIEW

Reach Agency is looking for a hands-on creative leader who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, creator culture, and brand building. As the Associate Creative Director, you will lead a creative pod working on a very well-known personal care brand.

This role balances hands-on creative development with strategic oversight, leading integrated influencer work (as well as organic social and bespoke productions as needed). You’ll concept and craft creator-first campaigns while pushing the boundaries of social and influencer storytelling. The ACD leads a multidisciplinary team while collaborating closely with the Creative Director to oversee creative across influencer and social channels, bringing to life ideas that inspire real connection.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Leadership & Development

  • Own the creative vision at the portfolio and brand level, leading creative planning and concept development
  • Lead concepting across influencer and social — from singular post ideas and seeding activations through full campaigns
  • Partner with strategy to ensure all work aligns with business goals, audience insights, and brand strategy
  • Write and oversee copy across campaign storytelling, influencer briefs, and brand narratives
  • Partner with the Creative & Content Specialists to concept and produce social content and seeding campaigns
  • Translate business objectives into creative solutions that drive measurable impact across influencer and social ecosystems 
  • Develop platform-native ideas that marry brand voice with the authenticity of creator culture
  • Ensure creative consistency, craft, and emotional resonance across all brand content
  • Maintain expertise in influencer and social media best practices; ensuring all work meets or exceeds best in class standards
  • Understand and execute various voices & tones
  • Proactively identify opportunities to evolve the brand’s creative expression and storytelling

Creative & Content Execution

  • Oversee Creative & Content Specialists managing creative briefing, ideation, and reviews for all influencer content
  • Lead bespoke and high-touch productions, from UGC to large-scale shoots.
  • Champion creator originality while ensuring brand standards and compliance.
  • Oversee storytelling and tone for always-on influencer and social content, ensuring platform fluency and audience relevance
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with design, production, and strategy to bring social-first storytelling to life

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of creatives, setting clear creative expectations and performance standards
  • Present creative work to clients and partners with confidence and strategic clarity
  • Own feedback loops and ensure creative revisions are effectively implemented
  • Champion innovation, efficiency, and inclusivity in the pod’s process and output.
  • Partner with team and agency leadership to forecast creative needs, resource appropriately and identify opportunities for growth within the account 
  • Build trusted relationships with client and internal counterparts by demonstrating ownership over creative outcomes and showing thought leadership in every interaction 
  • Champion the use of AI powered tools and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness

The Ideal Candidate will Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in creative roles within social/influencer marketing, ideally at leading influencer, social or hybrid agencies 
  • Proven experience with female-forward beauty or personal care brands (e.g., Dove, E.L.F., La Mer, La Roche-Posay, Rhode)
  • Deep knowledge and passion for social platforms, including TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Reddit, and more
  • Strong portfolio of integrated social campaigns that merge influencer, storytelling, earned, and branded content
  • Expert understanding of short-form video, tone of voice, and influencer collaboration.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Comfortable directing creative talent, overseeing multiple projects, and working in a fast-paced, pod-based model
  • Bonus: design and art direction sensibility (for decks, seeding kits, and social visuals)
